Missouri: Power and Light. Kauffman Stadium. The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Crown Center. Boulevard Brewing Company. Arrowhead. Westport. Union Station. The Kansas City Zoo. In KCMO, the list of places to go and things to see goes on and on! Home to Sporting KC, the Chiefs, and the Royals, sports fans have no shortage excitement in this national championship city. A fast-growing Midwest metro, Kansas City is an excellent place for more than pro sporting events: affordable housing, incredible arts and culture, top-rated colleges, and some of the best barbecue in America!
Kansas: Traveling across the border into Kansas, KCK is a true melting pot of culture. Let your tastebuds run free on the KCK Taco Trail, take the family to an overnight outing at the Great Wolf Lodge, or spend a day at the Legends, an outlet mall with more than 100 retail stores. Drive further into Kansas and you can find yourself cheering on the KU Jayhawks in Lawrence, or their Manhattan rivals, the Kansas State Wildcats. In between the two college towns, lies Topeka—the state’s capital—and a wonderful town full of culture and family-oriented individuals!
Known more so as “flyover states,” Kansas and Missouri have more than what meets the eye! Both are great states to raise a family, hit the town with friends, or cheer on your favorite sports team! The only thing missing is you!
