Adirondack Veterinary Hospital is currently looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our existing team of two seasoned veterinarians and one associate veterinarian. Our hospital’s mixed animal environment caters to both small and large animals as well as 24 hour on-call emergency service. Some of the small animal on call service is referred out to limit after hour calls for our veterinarians. Our rural clientele have been serviced by this hospital for over 30 years and depend on us for our compassionate and progressive approach to veterinary medicine. Being part of a group of two hospitals, Adirondack Veterinary Hospital and Plattsburgh Animal Hospital, have allowed us to become the veterinary practices of choice in the area as we continue to look for ways to better serve animal owners and their pets. Services we offer at this hospital include an in-house laboratory, computer digital x-ray, ultra sound, medical, surgical and dental care as well as large animal service calls. This position is full-time and includes servicing small animals on-site as well as large animal service calls in the local region if candidate is a mixed animal veterinarian. Excellent communication and superb client relations skills are a must. Veterinarian must be willing to work one Saturday each month as part of their schedule. We have a large, well-established client base and are looking for a confident veterinarian with a dependable work ethic and a positive, upbeat demeanor.
