About Our Opportunity:
The Indiana Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory at Purdue University, located in West Lafayette, IN, is looking for an exceptional veterinarian to add as an additional Client Services Veterinarian to our staff. The successful candidate will provide information and guidance to clients (private practitioners, Purdue Veterinary Hospital clinicians, state and regulatory agencies, and owners) and staff (working closely and guiding ADDL accessioning staff) concerning sample collection and submission, test strategies, test selection, and test result interpretation. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to change things up from a traditional clinical position and focus on educating clients.
What Sets Us Apart:
Hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with no evening or weekend emergency (except during FAD investigations and outbreaks).

What We’re Looking For - Required:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
Three years of experience in practice, laboratory, or a regulatory position.
Interest and expertise in population medicine, production medicine, companion animal medicine, and/or livestock/equine disease diagnosis.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with exemplary customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and in a group setting.

The Indiana Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (ADDL), with locations in West Lafayette and Southern Indiana at the Heeke Laboratory, is focused on helping Indiana veterinarians, animal health officials, livestock producers, and animal owners in protecting the health of the animal population by providing prompt, accurate, and reliable diagnoses of animal diseases, including those that may affect the human population. The ADDL is fully accredited by the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD) and serves as the official diagnostic laboratory for the State of Indiana.
